For education is a sincere and a collective effort towards achieving excellence in learning, S.D. Kanya Mahavidyala, Mansa that came into being in year 1969 has been widely recognized for providing quality and need-based education to the girls of rural, semi-urban and urban areas. SDKMV has recorded more than five decades of constant development by inculcating spirit of learning among its students and having outshined in the various fields i.e curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular. As an institution, it has been our continuous attempt towards creating a conducive learning environment requisite for the (w)holistic development of the students.

It is pertinent that the students are encouraged to channelize their potential in the pursuits of excellence which is only possible when provided with a student-centric atmosphere. However, the faculty of SDKMV is experienced and competent enough to create an effective teaching-learning environment. It would not be improper to say that the students develop the ability to negotiate several issues confronting them and to shoulder the responsibilities towards making a better society.

SDKMV provides a variety of undergraduate, post-graduate, diploma, professional and short term certificate courses to make the students employable and budding entrepreneurs. The state-of-art infrastructure and facilities available in the college help to cater the various needs and demands of the changing educational policies and the challenging global scenario.
